Update on Review Process

Update on Review Process

Thank you for your patience

If you submitted an abstract for consideration you will have received a notification regarding the status of your submission.

Your Paper Status will be in one of three categories:

  1. Individual Paper Accepted: This means that you will be presenting at the conference. You have been accepted (selected) to present your work.
  2. Not Accepted: Your paper has not been selected on this occasion.
  3. Under Review: This means that reviews are not complete for your theme area.

Reviews are still being completed for:

  1. Linguistics, भाषाशास्त्रम्
  2. Scientific Literature, वैज्ञानिकं वाङ्मयम्
  3. Vaiṣṇavism and Śaivism, वैष्णवमतं शैवमतं च
  4. Philosophy, दर्शनानि, तत्त्वशास्त्रम्
  5. Sanskrit Pedagogy, संस्कृतशिक्षाशास्त्रम्
  6. Computational Sanskrit and Digital Humanities, संस्कृतं विज्ञानतान्त्रिकी च

There are also a small number of papers from some other theme areas that may still be Under Review. As soon as the reviews are completed we will let you know whether you have been accepted or not.

We are not accepting further abstracts at this stage

There may be a limited call for further abstracts closer to the time if there are parts of the program that require more presenters. If this is the case, you will be notified. Accepted authors will have the opportunity to withdraw or modify abstracts in early 2021, as desired.

Feedback for abstracts that are not accepted

The program committee received an overwhelming number of abstracts for WSC2022 and the quality of abstracts overall was very high. It is not possible to accommodate all abstracts in the program. Please understand that we cannot provide individual feedback regarding the reviewer results for each abstract. We do hope that you will be able to attend the conference in 2022 even if you are not presenting your work. There will be many valuable networking and educational opportunities.
